Frank Heenan Award
I am honored to be Awarded the Frank Heenan Award from Sir Robin Knox-Johnston at the Royal Southern YC this week end. Unfortunately I was not able to attend the dinner as I was at sea sailing in the first course of the year. Having been a member of the Royal Southern for most my life, sailing toppers and 29ers from the club and taking part in , and having a lot of fun in the Youth splash weeks, it is great to receive this Award as my journey is just beginning in to the Vast world of offshore Yacht racing. The Royal Southern has over the years supported me in various different ways and in a range of classes and types of sailing. I am now taken back my the level of interest in my single handed Figaro project this year. See pictures of my stand in's for the award at the dinner,many thanks to the old man and dear.
